Asphalt Resurfacing

If you have a paved asphalt area, such as a driveway or a parking lot, years of wear may lead it to degrade and fractures or holes to appear. Natural elements such as ice, sun, or hail, human wear, or a combination of both can cause them. It may be time to replace your asphalt, depending on how old it is and how badly it has been damaged.

Instead of breaking up the old material and repaving the entire area (which can take a long time and be expensive), our specialists can resurface your old asphalt by applying a fresh layer of asphalt on top of it. We may lay asphalt on top of your pavement to fill up any cracks and give it a smooth new surface as long as the foundation underlying it has remained stable. This means we can remove cracks, holes, divots, and other flaws in your asphalt very away, restoring it to its former glory.

THE RIGHT TIME TO RESURFACE YOUR DRIVEWAY

You may need to resurface if your driveway have :

  1. Age ; Asphalt driveways can endure up to 20 years before they require replacement. It's probably time to get your driveway redone if you can't recall when it was installed or if it's beginning to show indications of significant damage.

  2. Cracking ; A line or split on the surface ranging from simple, minor imperfections from 1/8” to ½” wide to large cracks that involve the base.

  3. Unevenness ; Sloping areas or bumps in certain places.

  4. Potholes or bird baths ; Potholes are holes in the asphalt that are usually 1"-2" deep or deeper.

  5. Pooling water ; Large puddles of pooling water are caused by bad draining systems that eat away at your driveway and seep into the ground beneath it.
